Background
Garrett Pittman is the Vice President of Institutional Investments for TCG Advisors, LP (TCG Advisors). Garrett has been with TCG since 2012 and specializes in equity portfolio management and retirement plan design. He acts in a fiduciary capacity to help cities and other public sector institutions manage their investment choices and ensure plans are delivering the best possible retirement outcomes for their employees. Currently, Garrett manages over $650 million in institutional client assets.
A graduate of University of Texas at Austin, Garrett started his career as a Registered Representative for Charles Schwab in 2000. He moved on to become a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch, specializing in option portfolios to generate income for his clients. He then went on to get his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (Arizona State University). Garrett currently holds a FINRA Series 65 license and prior to joining TCG, Garrett acquired his Series 7 and 63 FINRA securities licenses, as well as the Group One life and health insurance license.
