Background

Dakota’s career began as a business analyst for a start-up working alongside the inventor of Muscle Milk. He then moved to San Antonio to work at a private wealth advisory specializing in insurance and risk management before joining Prudential where he focused on holistic financial planning. Now based in Austin, TX, Dakota lives with his wife Kayla and their son Casey. An avid trap shooter and fly fisherman, he volunteers with the Wounded Warriors Foundation, coaching amputees to enjoy shotgun sports again. Dakota is guided by Albert Einstein’s words on the power of compound interest: “Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it … he who doesn’t … pays it.”
