Background

Carolina Figueroa is a Retirement Plan Specialist for TCG, a HUB International company where she acts as the liaison for school district employees and TCG for retirement plan offerings and enrollment. Additionally, Carolina conducts meetings with employees to answer any retirement plan questions with regards to TRS, Social Security, and planning for gaps in retirement savings options. Carolina’s goal at TCG is to make TRS employees aware of the need to start planning for retirement today, and to encourage them to begin their retirement savings for a future filled with financial wellness. Carolina hopes to increase the enrollment of all TRS members, and to educate them on all of the options and benefits that are available to them.

Carolina attended the University of Texas at El Paso and is a certified Life and Health Insurance Agent. Before joining TCG Carolina worked for El Paso ISD for 10 years as a Contracted Employee Benefits Coordinator, where she processed all retirement and exit interviews for EPISD employees.

Carolina currently resides in El Paso, Texas and is married and has three beautiful girls. In her free time, she enjoys staying active by hiking and playing with her two German Sheppards.

Carolina’s favorite financial quote is from Roger Babson who said, “More people should learn to tell their dollars where to go instead of asking them where they went”.
