Background

Garrett Pittman is Senior Vice President of Public Markets at HUB Investment Partners. In his role, Garrett is responsible for the growth and management of HUB’s public sector retirement consulting team. He focuses on helping employers, trustees, and committees fulfill their fiduciary responsibilities and implement industry best practices for their 401(a), 403(b), 457(b), OPEB Trust, and retiree health plans. Garrett provides clients with insight on a wide array of topics, including investment analysis, plan governance, vendor oversight, RFP management, employee education strategies, and retirement plan design. In his 15+ years of experience in the financial services industry, he has successfully guided numerous municipalities, universities, and educational institutions through complex regulatory landscapes, while improving retirement outcomes for plan participants.

Garrett earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and has completed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AlF®) certification through Fi360. He is a current FINRA Series 65 license-holder and formerly held the Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

Prior to joining HUB, Garrett was an Area Vice President for Gallagher, specializing in helping large public entities manage their fiduciary responsibilities. Previous to his time at Gallagher, he served as the Vice President of Institutional Investments for TCG Consulting (now HUB Investment Partners).
