Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinator

Our purpose is to design experiences and visuals that enable users to achieve their financial goals. A balanced understanding of strategy, research, and interaction of visual design is a must. We are looking for a customer experience advocate who is excited about our customer’s financial wellness. We need simple, intelligent and enriching marketing visuals and projects. By researching and understanding our users’ needs you will be able to impact how our users do business with TCG. 
You will own the design and creation of our visuals and digital elements, including brochures, flyers, sales decks, videos, website landing pages, and more. This role owns making all TCG materials aesthetically pleasing while staying within the guides of our new brand book. Advanced technical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is required.
The position will report directly to the CMO and will work directly with our internal marketing team. As a part of a small team, you will be empowered and trusted to make big decisions on our visual elements. Occasional special projects will come from sales, operations, and technology teams.
Types of projects you will work on:

  • Marketing collateral such as flyers, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, whitepapers, and lead magnets
  • Artwork for social media and sponsored posts 
  • Website landing page designs
  • Email marketing designs
  • Short marketing videos
  • Webinars (coordination and production)
  • Podcast audio recordings (you don’t have to be an expert)
  • Coordinating quarterly employee headshot photoshoots
  • Managing marketing portal where approved designs live 

To be successful, you will:

  • Collaborate well with multiple teams, including internal and external
  • Represent the TCG brand and deliver a consistent design process as set by brand book
  • Strategically listen to feedback and help guide/lead the delivery of design efforts
  • Keep a well-organized file repository with a standardized file naming convention 
  • Manage your time efficiently and work quickly to meet swift deadlines 
  • Pay attention to small details — this is key in financial services
  • Work with vector illustrations and plan illustrated layouts using wire-frames
  • Commit to improving our process and methods with an emphasis on both effectiveness and efficiency
  • Regularly learn more about design theory, practice, and tools.
  • Be enthusiastic about design! We want you to pitch in your creative ideas along with owning new design projects from scratch

Skill requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, and XD are a plus)
  • Understanding of working with vectors, cohesive colors, and paragraph styles
  • Extremely proactive and able to focus on several different projects at once
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Bonus points:

  • Intermediate experience with CMS (WordPress) and HTML coding are a plus
  • 1+ years financial understanding is a plus
  • InVision, MailChimp, Hubspot, Tableau, Hootsuite, Zoom, and Calendly, SendGrid, Mixpanel experience are a plus
